The events take place in 1919 in Bessarabia.

The story of Diego, a boy of just eleven years old, who lives in a small fishing community north of Mexico. Eva is about to turn thirteen, she is the only daughter of Maria and Jacinto. Here many of them experience revaluation of values, others even find their love.
